I've been painting again. Who knew?

Things are coming along smoothly.

Brushmarks

Whoo... progress is fun. This looks a bit different than what I normally do but we'll see what kind of reaction I get.

When it dries a little more Im going to add a bit more lights and contrasts.

The pictures do not do the painting justice. The flash reflects too much off of the brushmarks.

Blargh

So here I am... covered in gesso. I've been painting a lot this weekend but it doesn't really even show.

First I pretty much completely painted over a painting from the last critique that just did not have enough paint on it. Here's a comparison:

I want this for some reason. And I don't know why. Other than the fact that its pure awesome.

I mean come on - its HAGU and she is on a horse with a steering wheel. Let's not even start on the balloons.
